We are thrilled to announce that Young & Inspired has been selected to participate in The Childhood Trust’s Champion for Children Big Give Campaign, where we aim to raise an ambitious £61,260 to support our Treehouse Teens project.
Treehouse Teens is more than just a play scheme – it’s a lifeline for young people aged 10-16 who are grappling with the compounded challenges of poverty, food insecurity, and mental health struggles. Every Sunday and throughout the holidays, we provide a safe haven where youth can play, learn, and grow in a nurturing environment. Here, they not only receive nourishing meals but also engage in activities designed to foster positive relationships, build emotional resilience, and equip them with essential life skills.
Imagine a Sunday afternoon filled with the sounds of laughter as children paint murals, cook meals together, or simply share stories under the shade of a tree. Picture the joy of a child who has been feeling isolated and anxious, finally finding a circle of friends where they can feel seen, valued, and supported. This is what Treehouse Teens is all about – a sanctuary where every child can feel at home.
But to keep this vital project thriving, we need your support. From 3rd to 17th June, every donation received will be doubled by our pledge funds and Champion Funds – doubling your impact and making your generosity go twice as far. During the Big Give Campaign, every pound you donate will be doubled, meaning your impact will go twice as far. With your help, we can ensure that the doors to Treehouse Teens stay open, providing a safe space for vulnerable youth to learn, play, and thrive.
